A passion for road safety and sustainability

EB Road Cargo’s mission is to become Sweden’s most valued transport and logistics company by being responsive to its customer’s needs. It strives to achieve this by offering customer-friendly logistics solutions in business areas that place higher demands on safety, sustainability and reliability.

Knowing that sustainability is of growing concern to its customers, during 2024, EB Road Cargo took the decision to be at the forefront of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in the transportation sector by starting earlier than required to become Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) compliant.

Getting ahead of CSRD compliance

EB Road Cargo decided to work with Greater Than to convert its vehicle data into valuable risk intelligence within the areas of climate and social impact.

Although the company is not yet required to submit reports under CSRD legislation, EB Road Cargo wanted to be well prepared and demonstrate to stakeholders its commitment to sustainability. The company is using Greater Than’s ESG Compliance Package to collect a full 12 months of data ahead of time, which it will use to set a baseline for future action and performance.

Uncovering new insights from existing data

EB Road Cargo shares its existing telematics data with Greater Than via an API connection, enabling Greater Than’s AI to analyze the data and uncover valuable and quantitative insights including emissions and crash probability per driver, based on the driver influence.

The data insights will enable EB Road Cargo to set a baseline for reporting and formulate an action plan ahead of CRSD reporting regulations coming into effect for them.
