Greater Than and Smart Eye Deepen Collaboration with Predictive Risk Scoring Read press release

We do it for our planet

It's our mission to empower our customers with actionable insights to reduce road crashes and climate impact.

This keeps us awake at night

Globally, transportation is vital, for people’s everyday lives, for businesses, and for economies to thrive. Yet, transportation comes at a huge human cost, with the deaths of approximately 1.19 million people each year the result of road traffic crashes.

Transportation is also responsible for approximately one quarter of greenhouse gas emissions. We don’t have to accept these costs. It’s time to take driver risk seriously.

To coincide with Greater Than's listing in InsurTech100 2022, Sten Forseke was interviewed about how Greater Than's AI is helping insurers increase profitability

Road crashes are a global epidemic. Almost 1.2 million people are killed in road crashes and around 50 million more injured, every single year. We do not need to accept this. Greater Than’s technology predicts crashes before they happen, empowering organizations with risk insights and tools to address risk, prevent crashes and reduce climate impact.

We’re problem solvers

Greater Than is a global provider of risk intelligence into road safety and climate impact. Our technology converts GPS data into driver scores that predict driver crash probability and climate impact. The scores can be further enhanced with features and tools that help organizations manage and act on the data insights.

Insurance companies, underwriters, fleet solution providers, mobility providers and other owners of GPS data use our AI risk intelligence to reduce crashes, control risk, lower climate impact, price car insurance, optimize telematics data and report on ESG performance.

We measure what no one else can

It’s our mission to empower our customers with the most meaningful driver impact insights. We do this by measuring what no one else can – the driver influence on risk and climate impact.

Because our AI is trained using real-life driving data, and because we measure total risk during a trip, not just predefined events, we’re able to quantify the degree to which a driver can influence crash probability and climate impact. It’s this unique understanding of risk that drives positive change.

We’re proud to be transforming road safety

Sometimes, all that’s needed is increased awareness to help drivers understand their impact on the roads. Our globally unique AI technology uncovers new risk intelligence that identifies the factors contributing to crash risk, providing valuable insights to incentivize change.

We analyze huge volumes of driving data to determine crash probability. By doing so we can see who will crash next, and why. This enables us to inform organizations where action is needed most, and where there is most potential to make a real difference to safer roads.

We’re passionate about driving down emissions

Not only do we measure total emissions, but we also determine the proportion of emissions that the driver can influence, and how low or high a driver’s climate impact is compared to the average driver.

It’s these insights that make climate impact comparable, regardless of vehicle size, make, or fuel type, helping organizations to pinpoint the biggest areas for improvement and take action to reduce carbon footprint.
